Facile methods of preparing pure hydroxyapatite nanoparticles in ordinary laboratories

چکیده

The present work features some simple methods of preparing pure hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (nano-HAp), a useful biomaterial, via various wet chemical and using biogenic sources such as eggshells animal bone. nano-HAp hence prepared was subsequently characterized by FTIR spectroscopy XRD technique. spectra confirmed the presence PO43- OH- ions major functional groups in material, with additional peaks implying CO3- adsorbed water molecules. patterns, agreement JCPDS 09-432 data, demonstrated crystalline nature phase being apatite. average grain diameter nanocrystallites found range 15-30 nm. preparatory depicted herein can be easily employed ordinary high school laboratories having basic facilities availability distilled water, handy glasswares, common laboratory chemicals instruments balance, hot air oven furnace.
